Description

The McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin is seeking applications for a lecturer or clinical faculty position in the Department of Management beginning in Fall 2023. These positions are on the Professional Track (non-tenure track). A clinical faculty appointment requires a Ph.D. and evidence of an active research pipeline. The title of lecturer or clinical faculty for the selected applicant will depend on their qualifications and experience. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply for both positions.

The Department of Management, part of the McCombs School of Business, houses four thriving centers: the Center for Leadership and Ethics, the Harkey Institute for Undergraduate Entrepreneurial Studies, the Herb Kelleher Center for Entrepreneurship, and the Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs. Additionally, the department oversees the school's one-year Master of Science in Technology Commercialization (MSTC) Program. The school's location in Austin is appealing to faculty interested in engaging with a vibrant business community of established firms and start-ups. The Dell Medical School at UT-Austin also provides unique opportunities for teaching as part of the Healthcare Innovation and Reform initiative, as well as for research settings and collaborations. The McCombs School's strong relations with the public sector have continually presented teaching and research opportunities for our faculty.
