POSITION

Allspring Global Investments is looking for a Business Development Consultant who will report to the Head of Sales Execution in the Global Relationship Management department. As a Business Development Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting Intermediary Sales efforts by providing strategic analysis, client insights, and execution strategies. Working closely with our National Accounts, Wealth Specialists, and Intermediary Sales leadership, you will identify growth opportunities, improve client engagement, and drive sales performance. This position requires a problem solver with excellent sales and analytical abilities, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the asset management industry.

We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Collaborate with the Global Relationship Management team to develop and strictly implement strategies that drive sales growth and improve client engagement.
  • Analyze market trends, client data, and the competitive landscape to find opportunities for business development and sales optimization.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to sales teams to improve client acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Support the development of sales tools and resources, including CRM systems, reporting dashboards, and other analytics tools.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve the overall client experience and drive business growth.
  • Work closely with National Accounts and Wealth Specialists to ensure flawless execution of sales strategies.
  • Develop and apply standard methodologies for client engagement and relationship management.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • 5+ years of experience in asset management, financial services, or related fields, preferably in a sales or business consulting role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systems. Familiarity with data analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc) is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Integrity and the personal presence to represent Allspring with enthusiasm and distinction
  • Excellent relationship building skills, along with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment that values independent thinking
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or 66) certifications


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • In-depth knowledge of asset management products, services, and market dynamics
  • Outcome driven and can work independently with all levels of staff and senior management
  • Demonstrable problem-solving abilities, with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills to effectively convey our value proposition to clients



Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $140,000

Salary Range for California candidates only.Actual based may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.)
