Where you'll be:

This position will be remotely and will report to Director of Last Mile & D2C.

All about the role: The Standards & Audit Manager owns the implementation and management of audit disciplines and project execution to achieve Last Mile performance excellence. This role will implement alignment of systems, processes, and execution across multiple 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) providers servicing major appliance home deliveries & installations to builders and consumers in 70+ markets. Success of the Last Mile Standards & Audit role is defined by quantified waste elimination; measured by, but not limited to, damage rates, failure rates, dwell, delivery cost to serve, etc.

The Standards & Audit Manager will drive adoption of lean frameworks in the daily work of the Last Mile team and internal & external business partners. This role plays a critical need in Last Mile's adoption of the new Electrolux Always Improves (EAI) framework. Successful execution of this role will enable sustainable growth in multiple strategic business segments for Electrolux.

What you'll do:

  • Utilization of lean supply chain disciplines to identify internal and external improvement opportunities leading to network service level improvements.

  • Owner of Electrolux's last mile Standard Operations Procedures (SOP). Implements and communicate SOP updates to 3PL partners for signoff.

  • Develop and maintain SOP audit framework for Last Mile Regional Manager use and 3PL self-evaluation. Audits to include end-to-end order processes from product receipt to potential return.

  • Ensures audits are performed quarterly according to audit framework. Uses audit results to focus Region Manager ideation of continuous improvement projects.

  • Create and maintain 5S framework for Electrolux Last Mile Team and Electrolux Delivery Center (EDC) operations.

  • Utilizes internal and external data tools to track performance of mid and last mile fulfillment activities. Highlights opportunities for waste elimination.

  • Leads root cause analysis efforts using the A3 framework, in collaboration with Last Mile Region Managers and Coordinators. Supports data collection and counter measure quantification.

  • Holds monthly project reviews with the Last Mile team to ensure improvement projects are on-track and realizing expected results.

  • Manages integration scorecard highlighting quality of data flows between 3PL systems and Electrolux's delivery track and trace platform, FarEye. Leads prioritization of development needs between 3PLs and FarEye technical teams.

Qualifications and preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of operational work experience with emphasis on process improvement, home delivery, and / or supply chain operations.

  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office. Experience managing and reporting KPI performance through data tools like Microsoft Excel and PowerBI (or other visual insights program).

  • Demonstrate a successful track record of identifying and executing waste elimination through root cause analysis and collaborative problem solving.

  • Ability to develop and implement operational plans and SOPs.

  • Knowledge of supply chain business practices and concepts that impact the success and profitability of the organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in the areas of root cause analysis and cost-effective solution implementation.

  • A strong sense of business ownership and responsibility to the customers entrusted to their care.

  • Ability to reconcile, integrate, and synthesize information, generate conclusions and insights, and formulate recommendations to management.

  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to build strong relationships and leverage resources with other team members, across other parts of the business, and with external constituents.

  • Bias for proactive action; follows up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.

  • Ability to think conceptually and bring structure to business problems, coupled with a highly practical orientation.

  • Up to 50% travel may be required.
