Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the Project Manager position for the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems Contract. The ideal candidate will have experience working on complex systems. This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and manage small to medium-sized projects to support mission success, overseeing all aspects from initiation to completion.
  • Drive project progress by coordinating tasks and managing stakeholders, ensuring alignment with mission goals.
  • Actively monitor, track, and manage project tasks, timelines, milestones, and quality of deliverables, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Integrate all necessary functions and activities to meet client requirements, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Lead and direct project teams, managing schedules, maintaining contract compliance, and serving as the primary customer interface.
  • Provide proactive, assertive leadership to engage multidisciplinary teams in meeting project goals and addressing business needs.
  • Oversee diverse project teams, including vendors and multiple work centers, fostering collaboration and efficient task execution.
  • Present project-related information to customers, internal leadership, and peers, delivering clear updates and insights.
  • Develop comprehensive project management plans, establish expectations, and ensure alignment with organizational standards and procedures.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, goals, and deliverables.
  • Gather, document, review, and validate project requirements in line with organizational and PMO standards.
  • Ensure timely, on-scope project delivery, tracking dependencies and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Create detailed work breakdown structures that outline all necessary activities for project completion.
  • Deliver high-quality project communications, including weekly status reports, dashboards, and updates.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires BS and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, demonstrating advanced expertise in project management methodologies, industry best practices, and effective project execution.
  • Proficient in Jira for creating, managing, and tracking tasks, ensuring seamless workflow coordination and efficient task monitoring within project teams.
  • Experienced in designing and customizing Confluence dashboards, enhancing collaboration, knowledge sharing, and transparency across cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite, including document creation, data analysis, and presentation development, supporting streamlined project management and communication.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, fostering effective interactions with stakeholders, clients, and team members to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, with a proven ability to understand client needs and address concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Solid background in cyber security or IT, with a deep understanding of relevant technologies, industry standards, and best practices to support project objectives.
  • Active Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance for continued eligibility and project involvement.
  • Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within 90 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with defensive cyber
  • Prior experience supporting Air Force Cyber or Cyber Command
  • Prior experience with AFLCMC/HNCD
  • Able to create and manage basic SharePoint sites
  • Agile fundamentals certification
  • ITIL fundamentals certification

Pay Range:Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
