Acara Solutions is hiring a Quality Inspector for our medical device client in Palm Harbor, FL. This position is 1st shift and contract to hire.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Compare purchase orders to received materials and tooling for accuracy, including part numbers, specifications, and revision levels.
  • Review and verify Certifications of Compliance and inspect materials and tooling visually and dimensionally using appropriate equipment.
  • Assess physical and chemical properties of raw materials against certifications.
  • Record inspection results, maintain inspection data, and manage nonconforming items by generating reports and segregating them from accepted items.
  • Enter data into the SPC system for PTI products as needed and review supplier documentation and products.
  • Audit WIP at machine centers for conformance and address nonconforming supplier products to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure timely inspections and communicate any potential delays to the QA group leader.
  • Validate nonconformance issues through part history and assist in mentoring new or current staff.
  • Perform final inspections and testing as required by drawings, specifications, or work instructions.

What you'll get:

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay: $18.35/hr.

Duration: 3-6 months, possibility to convert to direct hire

Worksite: Palm Harbor, FL

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • 1 year of experience in Quality Control
