The Global AI Practice within Salesforce Professional Services focuses on delivering strategic engagements to help our customers successfully adopt Salesforce's AI solutions. We rely on our team's expertise to drive large programs to drive GTM, strategy, delivery, and enablement programs for professional services to support the latest AI product offerings.

Salesforce Professional Services is seeking an innovative Senior Program Manager who shares our vision of bringing the power of AI solutions to our customers. Project Managers are driving successful outcomes for the practice and the broader Professional Services teams by leading internal programs. This involves creating plans, understanding practice priorities & requirements, managing relationships, deliverables, and outcomes. Our Program Managers are also domain experts who actively participate in the project, managing stakeholder relationships, project methodology, and execution.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Serve as the overall Leader of the project team and exhibit excellent leadership skills in forming a team, ensuring strong communication channels, giving clarity, motivation and direction to the team throughout the engagement.

  • Build and lead project plans; supervise and review project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed; ensure on time and on budget delivery of projects and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success.

  • Able to lead multiple projects requiring complex cross-functional teamwork and management at the program level.

  • Facilitate requirements gathering and assist with crafting project deliverables, and documentation as needed.

  • Participate in end to end project planning including project management, and risk & issue management.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communications across individual contributors, team leaders, & executives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • + 10 years in project management, including experience handling external client projects.

  • Ability to balance the business and technical requirements to produce a project plan and collaborate to acquire the information, such as estimates, as input to the project plan.

  • Demonstrated project management skills, with direct responsibility for running project teams, up to 10+ people, budget and schedule.

  • Demonstrated ability to have difficult conversations.

  • Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with strong communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environment.

  • Available to travel regionally and occasionally internationally depending on business needs.

  • Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project Management Methodology Certification such as Prince, PMP, SAFe, Scrum.

  • Manage and communicate with remote developers.

Possible travel of about 25%, but exact travel requirements will vary based on business needs.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,900 to $217,200. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
