Job Description Work Scope:
  • Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the Strategic Partnerships Sales Engineer partners closely with our sales team to craft competitive pitches and proposals
  • This role provides their specific product knowledge to ensure our sales team is presenting the most desirable package
  • The successful individual is both a skilled product professional as well as performs well in client facing roles
  • The ideal candidate is a skilled product professional and interacts well with our external clients
  • They must demonstrate superior follow-through, assimilate and synthesize information quickly and communicate comfortably with internal and external stakeholders
Essential Functions
  • Serve as the strategic point of contact for during the sales process for compelling product positioning in the sales process
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding new clients and ensure operational and technological components for client launch are executed smoothly
  • Work cross-functionally with internal partners to research and create solutions for potential client needs or issues that arise, spanning a wide range from payment issues to technology issues
  • Utilize pipeline management software to manage accounts, increase customer uptake, drive effective marketing efforts and provide new product offerings based on customer needs
  • Develop solid partnerships with key stakeholders at client accounts
  • Attend Onsite and offsite client meetings and conferences with current or prospective clients; travel required throughout year and during open enrollment
  • Self-Starter: Following up with clients, ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities without impacting deadlines, plan and execute with minimal supervision, strong work ethic, exceptional integrity
Required Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma mandatory: Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, product owner, sales enablement functions
  • Prior experience in B2B2C distribution
  • Experience with web-based applications
  • Excellent written, spoken, listening, and critical analysis skills
  • Presentation Skills: Via web, phone and in person
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of behavioral and personality styles effectively and make all feel comfortable
  • Able to tackle new assignments and wear multiple hats, advocating on behalf of client and Allstate Identity Protection simultaneously
  • Work well independently and in a team environment
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Preferred experiences
  • Pre-sales or product support experience in across multiple channel types
  • Experience supporting strategic sales in B2B and/or B2B2C sales, with exposure to indirect channel development
  • Vertical market experience in any of these: Financial Services, Healthcare, Eldercare, Affinity Solutions
Travel: Overnight and day travel is expected. 25-30% travel

Compensation:

  • The offered annual base salary for this role is between $120- $127K

  • This role is also eligible for the AIP Sales Engineer Commission Plan; recruiter will discuss with prospective candidates

AIP2024 Skills CompensationCompensation offered for this role is $84,800.00 - 116,600.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment: Except for our Customer Care roles which necessitates onsite work, most other roles are remote. AIP is a remote-first company; however, our roles are open to in-office or flex work if you live in a city with a physical office location

Physical Demands: We primarily collaborate with our colleagues through virtual meetings and office collaboration tools. Employees will have to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity machinery, as necessary. Employees must be able to remain stationary for extended periods and must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication.
