RESPONSIBILITIES

Principal Responsibilities:



  • IT Service Management

    • Oversee IT operations in San Francisco, Portland, and Las Vegas, maintaining IT assets and resolving IT issues.
    • Manage hardware lifecycle, including refresh cycles and inventory tracking.
    • Install, upgrade, and configure software, hardware, and systems at the desktop level.
    • Handle advanced help desk escalations, providing hands-on support when needed.
    • Coordinate installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for workstations and peripherals.




  • Network Management

    • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, escalating as required.
    • Design and plan network capacity, including disaster recovery and security protocols.
    • Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) for network performance.
    • Maintain security systems, conduct quarterly security testing, and report performance metrics.
    • Oversee network hardware (routers, switches, hubs, UPS), and manage network assets, documentation, and specifications.
    • Research and recommend improvements, upgrades, and repairs to ensure network efficiency and security.




QUALIFICATIONS

Experience & Education



  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards (e.g., Azure Vnets, Cisco, Palo Alto).
  • Multi-location network experience (LAN, WAN, SDWAN) with expertise in databases and patch management.
  • Proficient in hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving with a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and capable of prioritizing competing priorities.

Pay scale is based on education and experience and may range from $90k to $130k. We have a significant benefits offering including generous bonus, profit sharing, and 100% employee ownership.
