Overview

Are you eager to use your problem-solving abilities, analysis skills, and passion for performance testing to ensure Esri delivers robust, secure, and top-performing solutions to its user community? This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to designing and building the next generation of ArcGIS Enterprise. In this position you'll be a key member of our software development team and provide test results and critical analysis assessing the performance, scalability, and durability of the latest software release.

Responsibilities



  • Design and implement automated tests for performance, durability, scalability, and reliability of the directions and routing services running on AWS cloud platform
  • Create tools and scripts to automate the provisioning of load test environments for routing services in the AWS cloud
  • Analyze test runs for performance anomalies; work with product engineers and development programmers to clearly describe identified anomalies, communicate repeatable steps, provide a reproducible environment, and verify fixes
  • Orchestrate running of the performance tests using Jenkins pipelines
  • Create and maintain dashboards to effectively communicate test results to software development and product management teams
  • Provide guidance about capacity planning and optimal system provisioning to customers who choose to deploy these web services in their own infrastructure
  • Can work remotely


Requirements



  • One (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained
  • Applicants must also have demonstrated experience with the following: Apache JMeter; Python; Jenkins; and Amazon Web Services.
  • Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study

$74,090 $130,000 USD
