Position Overview
| Primary Purpose of Position |
The primary purpose of this position is to offer expert consultation and manage the administration of facilities, property, and equipment essential to Cooperative Extension programs, both on campus and in county operations. This includes overseeing the management of facilities, the motor pool fleet, property, inventory, and program-related investments for Cooperative Extension. |

N.C. A&T is a public, land-grant, doctoral research institution and has been the largest historically Black university in the country for the past decade. The Cooperative Extension Program at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is an educational outreach organization within the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. Cooperative Extension at A&T provides researched-based educational information, programming and technical assistance to limited-resource audiences that address a diverse range of issues in four programmatic areas - Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, Community and Rural Development, and 4-H Youth Development. Together with its partners - North Carolina State University Cooperative Extension Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, state and county governments, a dynamic and resourceful system is formed. In addition to campus operations, The Cooperative Extension Program has professionally staffed offices in almost half of the 100 counties in North Carolina and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. |
| Minimum Requirements |
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Technology, or any area related to the field.
Experience in coordinating with facilities renovation projects; managing motor fleet; and in handling of inventory, building maintenance, and property recordkeeping. |

- Ability to plan and implement associated job tasks
- Excellent organization skills and ability to keep track of and prioritize a wide variety of tasks, projects, deadlines, and responsibilities
- Demonstrated skill in providing and delivering technical assistance (including basic computer Technical assistance) and support in the critical areas of facility, inventory and motor fleet maintenance.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work as a team member and support overall Extension program.
