Job Description
ECU College of Health/Human Performance is currently seeking several Student Retail Associates. We're thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for students interested in retail, merchandising, and building professional skills! The Professionally Purple Closet (PPC) Student Retail Associates position for Spring 2025 is now open to students desiring to complete the 3000-level internship requirement.
This role provides hands-on experience in managing inventory, visual merchandising, event support, and more. You'll work closely with the PPC team to keep things running smoothly and bring fresh ideas to life in the PPC! If you're interested in growing your skills, this could also lead to a manager position for Fall 2025.
What You'll Do:


  • Stay Connected: Work with the PPC team to keep merchandise moving and organized.

  • Promotions in Action: Help bring promotional strategies to life, teaming up with the PPC Student Manager.

  • Organize Inventory: Track, restock, and organize merchandise following PPC guidelines.

  • Create Displays: Set up eye-catching displays and windows to make shopping fun and engaging.

  • Tend to Merchandise: Handle minor repairs and keep items looking fresh for display.

  • Join Events: Support pop-up shops and career fairs with setup, sales, and customer interactions.

  • Collect Data: Track how items move during events to help improve our performance over time.

Must have completed the Pre-Professional Seminar (IDFM 2210; Previously MRCH 2215) course.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 for data entry and reporting
