TEKsystems is seeking a NetOps Sr to support a local government client out of New Orleans. Qualified candidates will need to have 8-10 years of experience, Active Secret Clearance, Bachelor's Degree, 8570 Compliance (Security+CE), CCNP, and the ability to obtain IAT III within 6 months (CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED or GCIH.) The Network Operations Sr. Position sits within the Marine Corps Enterprise Network - Network Activity Reserve supporting ~150 sites and ~800 routing and switching devices. These devices are made up of 9300-9500 Cisco Series Switches, 2900 transitioning to 8300-8500 Cisco Series Routers, and 4 core Nexus Routers. Responsibilities: * Monitor the infrastructure and network, responding appropriately to alerts and events. * Respond to incidents from triage through resolution, including escalations, where appropriate. * Respond to infrastructure repairs, including directing remote activities to maintain operational effectiveness for services. * Provide root cause analysis documentation in accordance with Government procedures. * Provide data center support where appropriate. * Document daily shift activities in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure proper pass down of any outstanding issues. * Provide incident notification to Government representatives. Qualifications: * Non negotiables: Active Secret Clearance & Security+CE * Labor Category Requirements: *Waivers can be obtained for 1 of the following requirements* * 8-10 years of Experience in Network Technologies * CCNP * IAT III - CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH * Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Related Field * Overall Cisco Network Technologies * Routing (BGP/EIGRP <> OSPF/SDWAN) * Router and Switch Port Configuration/Port Channeling * VLAN Configuration * TACLANE Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
