Pharmacist Inpatient

Join our dynamic healthcare team, providing exceptional pharmacy services in an inpatient setting. This role focuses on adult patients but may include pediatric cases in the ER. The facility includes 54 med/surg/tele beds, 10 ICU beds, an OR/SDS, radiology/IR, and an ER.

• Years of Experience Required: 2 years
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Times: Day/Eve rotation with occasional nights. When not on night shift, work 5x8h days with possible evening shifts. Day shift typically 6:30am-3pm or 7:30am-4pm. Evening shift 2:30pm-11pm. Further details discussed during the interview.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Contract Hours/BiWeekly: 72 hours
• Holiday Requirement: Per unit need
• First-Time Traveler Accepted: Yes
• Block Scheduling: 7 on, 7 off
• Certifications Required: PharmD, RPh, NJ state license
• No On-Call Required

The inpatient pharmacy supports the outpatient infusion department, including chemotherapy and non-chemo infusions, as well as inpatient/ER services. The role requires chemo certification and the ability to compound hazardous and non-hazardous medication.

• Specific Equipment: Pyxis experience required, PharmacyOneSource experience preferred
• Charting System: Epic experience required
