Position Highlights:

  • SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000
  • Position: MRI Technologist II

  • Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL

  • Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time

  • Hours: 1400 to 2230 and 1530 to 0000

  • On-call 1 shift every 2 weeks

  • Weekends: Rotating weekends (every other Saturday and/or Sunday)

  • Holidays: On-call only, 2 shifts per year

What you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Strong computer skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software

  • At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology), or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certification.

  • Current CPR certification issued the by American Heart Association

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher, preferred

  • Previous MRI experience, required

What you will do:

Operates MRI equipment to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust
