Human Resources Generalist Opportunity North Star Behavioral Health is one of Alaska's premier mental health facilities offering hope and healing for children, teens and adults who struggle with psychiatric or substance abuse issues. We also offer military-specific care to first responders, service members, veterans and dependents at the Chris Kyle Patriots Hospital. The HR Generalist is a key member of the Northstar Behavioral Health Team who, under the administrative direction of the HR Director, manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office. The HR Generalist manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, recruiting, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment.
