As an employer of choice, we are devoted to assuring that we provide a safe, healthy, and patient-centric workplace, while keeping staff wellbeing and satisfaction top of mind.We invite you to learn more about our wonderful community:There's something about Salem, Oregon!Your Role With Us: Registrar- Access Services- West Valley Hospital You will use your customer service mindset and strong data entry skills to provide superior customer service by courteously admitting and/or registering all patients here for treatment at our West Valley facility.Core Functions:Obtain accurate demographic, guarantor, and financial information; assign the correct medical record and account number providing a database which assures accurate billing and clinical information.Obtain appropriate signatures on all admitting forms as required to assure reimbursement and consent for treatmentFacilitate positive interaction with the public, physicians and other employees so guest relations are maximized and the hospital mission and vision is achieved.Communicate with patients of all ages, backgrounds and needs, showing empathy and kindness in all interactions with patients and visitors.Verify insurance eligibility, utilizing online carrier resources.Uses the overhead paging system.
