SUMMARY

Responsible for establishing agency objectives, providing customer service team with training and direction to expand their knowledge of services, products and troubleshooting techniques, as well as analyzing data, and improving performance and processes to better support customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the customer service team.


  • Monitors and evaluates representatives' performance and provides learning or coaching opportunities, and takes corrective action, if necessary.


  • Establishes effective KPI targets.


  • Heads meetings and communicates expectations and goals to team.


  • Manages live calls and provides feedback to strengthen customer retention.



QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

High School or equivalent combination of education and experience

Two (2) or more years of experience managing a team of 5 or more customer service professionals

Experience in the insurance industry

SKILLS

Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications

Expert knowledge of phone systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to provide feedback in an effective manner
