Valley Hospital Medical Center Located in the heart of Las Vegas, Valley Hospital Medical Center is an acute care and teaching hospital that has provided high quality healthcare to residents of Southern Nevada since 1972. Job Description:

This position is responsible for the timely preparation, seasoning and cooking of food for patients, employees, physicians and visitors.


Qualifications

STATUS: PER DIEM

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The candidate should have knowledge of and/or experience in cooking methods.


Experience:

previous experience is preferred.


License/Certification:
Current Clark County Food Handler Safety Training Card is required


Other:

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department and the ability to work and cooperate with members of hospital staff.
