Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Senior Club Operations Supervisor for the beautiful Barton Creek Country Club!

The club operations supervisor is responsible for the oversight of the men's and women's locker room; the 19th hole bar; the member cabana pool and club housekeeping operations. The position requires a hands-on leader who can maintain a seamless member experience, manage staff effectively, and uphold the club's standards for luxury and excellence. REPORTS TO: Director of Food & Beverage



Responsibilities

Locker Room Management (Men's and Ladies' Locker Rooms)

    Adhere to all standard policies and procedures
  • Report to work on time in a properly cleaned and pressed uniform
  • Supervises locker room attendant staff and locker room supervisor to ensure all functions and tasks are performed
  • Perform opening and closing duties in the locker area; ensure supplies are available and that the facilities are always kept clean and in a safe condition
  • Write locker room schedule ensuring the department has full coverage and that unnecessary overtime is not scheduled
    • Ensuring that schedule is input to OnTrack
  • Implement and oversee procedures for daily opening and closing, including inventory checks, equipment maintenance and supplies replenishment
  • Manage and track associate hours in Kronos, monitoring overtime and attendance infractions while ensuring payroll is closed accurately biweekly meeting the payroll timeline
  • Ensure that housekeeping supplies, locker room collateral, towels are all stored to appropriate par levels and are displayed neatly throughout the locker room
  • Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately
  • Takes care of members' needs, ensuring that supplies are available and that the facilities are always kept clean and in safe condition
  • Report any maintenance concerns throughout the Locker Room to engineering through Synergy
  • Ensure monthly maintenance walk-throughs and follow up checks are conducted to ensure the area's upkeep is held to standard

19th Hole Operation

  • Oversee all housekeeping efforts in the 19th Hole
  • Check morning coffee and pastry service, ensuring the presentation is elevated and appealing
  • Maintain all day snack station and be sure it is stocked bountifully and is clean and free of clutter or debris
  • Maintain an inviting and well-managed environment for members
  • Support bartenders and staff in delivering exceptional service, fostering a warm and professional atmosphere
  • Monitor all aspects of cleanliness, setup and organization as well as maintenance needs and address any issues promptly

Member Cabana Pool

  • Ensure pool is open, clean and functional by 9am each day
    • Umbrellas open
    • Clean towels folded and presented neatly
    • Trash cans are empty and refreshed
    • TVs at the bar are turned on to sports channels, checking for popular games / events to broadcast
  • Write pool attendant schedule ensuring the pool has sufficient coverage during peak business times (April - August) but avoids unnecessary overtime during winter months (September - March)
  • Ensure the attendants provide towel service, assist with seating arrangements and monitor poolside areas regularly for cleanliness and order
  • Monitor and manage the inventory of pool supplies, including towels and water
  • Collaborate with lifeguards, when on duty, to enforce pool policies and maintain a safe environment
  • Ensure poolside bathrooms are kept clean and organized meeting the housekeeping standards required
  • Ensure that the pool area consistently provides a relaxing, enjoyable, and high-quality experience for all members
  • Address member requests, feedback, or concerns in a timely and professional manager driving to exceed expectations
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for members and guests, promoting a high level of satisfaction
  • Ensure closing attendants leave pool area ready for business on following day
  • Report any maintenance problems throughout the Locker Room to engineering through Synergy. Monthly maintenance walk-throughs and follow ups must be conducted to ensure the area's upkeep is held to standard
  • Ensure all lifeguards have been properly certified

Housekeeping

  • Housekeeping Main Club house: Operations cover the main clubhouse public spaces, third floor ballroom restrooms, patios and bathrooms, first floor hallways and stairwells, employee bathrooms
  • Housekeeping Canyons:Operations cover the pro shop and restaurant dining room, male and female bathrooms and perimeter of the building
  • Support the housekeeping supervisor with scheduling needs, product ordering and special projects working closely together to form a strong team and work environment
  • Perform regular inspections with the housekeeping supervisor to ensure all areas are cleaned, organized and well stocked
  • Implement and maintain a thorough checklist system to track cleanliness and maintenance needs
  • Coordinate with the facilities team on repairs or updates keeping all club amenities in working condition

Staff Management and Training

  • Schedule and coordinate shifts to ensure adequate coverage across all supervised areas while avoiding unnecessary scheduled overtime
  • Conduct monthly team meetings to communicate standards, updates and club expectations using these as opportunities to connect the team and share important information
  • Train, mentor and evaluate team members, providing feedback and fostering a positive, professional work culture
  • Support ongoing training programs to maintain service standards, health and safety regulations

Member Relations

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for members utilizing the locker room facilities. Responding promptly and professionally to inquiries, feedback and requests.
  • Address and service concerns with a sense of urgency, working to resolve the issues and exceed expectations
  • Maintain a friendly and approachable presence in key areas to ensure member feel attended to and valued
  • Be proactive in proposing new ideas to improve the overall service in the locker room and pool facilities. Provide constructive solutions that will contribute to elevating the member experience


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Tenured hospitality and food and beverage experience is required. Work experience in a Country Club environment is preferred.
  • Must maintain current Red Cross CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Must maintain current Texas Food Handler and TABC certifications.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to walk, run, sit, stand, push, pull and lift moderate to heavy weight.

Working Environment:

  • Clubhouse facility, with frequent travel around Resort property.
