Position Description

The Product Manager is responsible for driving the commercial and product marketing activities and requirements for the cardiovascular business. They serve as the primary commercial lead, with partnership and collaboration with other Bracco Medical Technologies (BMT) business groups. The Product Manager also provides value beyond the marketing function as the subject matter expert. This person is expected to routinely provide perspective on clinical, strategic, and organizational strategies on the modality product lines and the broader BMT product portfolio.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Product Manager is responsible for the commercial strategy and efforts surrounding the modality product lines and within the business group



  • Establish a product vision and shared set of priorities across the team which meets the most important needs of our global customers





  • Set the direction and translate the features and benefits of modality products into compelling selling and commercialization strategies for the global business





  • Develop go-to-market strategy, value proposition and key claims





  • Develop in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses, features, underlying technology, etc. to establish technical differentiation and feature/benefit statements.





  • Work closely with the sales team to understand the market landscape and develop compelling, value-based business cases to drive increased customer engagement and product sales





  • Create promotional materials, sales collateral and programs that support our value proposition and drive awareness, understanding, brand preference and loyalty





  • Champion the product cross-functionally with sales, customer service, supply chain, R&D, and quality





  • Foster relationships with KOLs and clinicians to better understand the product, competitors and how to best position our technology to address the needs of our customers





  • Develop and deliver sales and marketing presentations, training, and advanced level insight and analysis into our technologies to strengthen our sales teams' knowledge and ability to effectively partner with customers by understanding our customers' needs and highlighting the benefits and value of our products



Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

Minimum



  • Bachelor's Degree





  • 3-4 years medical device marketing experience





  • 1+ years cardiovascular marketing background with global commercial product management experience





  • Experience interacting with, selling to and gaining input from global customers and partners





  • Demonstrated experience engaging in deep clinical and product performance discussions with physician experts





  • Demonstrates executive presence and ability to communicate at all levels





  • Strong business and clinical acumen





  • Ability to combine big-thinking strategic perspective with a detail-oriented approach to problem solving





  • Proven ability to manage projects and track record of execution.



Preferred



  • MBA





  • Experience in large and small company marketing function





  • Catheter based interventional medical device experience; interventional cardiology, radiology, and endovascular experience strongly desired



Other


  • Travel is estimated to be 20%

Compensation & Total Rewards:

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $116,000 - $130,000

*Estimated Starting Salary Range is reflective of the range Bracco Medical Technologies reasonably expects to pay for the position. The range provided is based on salary and market data specific to the position.
