This is a "hands-on" role which will include assisting in troubleshooting and operation of equipment. The SPL shall have a pivotal role in the development of a team culture that promotes and encourages a continual improvement mind-set towards Safety, People, Products, Processes, Procedures, and overall performance outputs. Display leadership by actively providing support to the team for continuous workflow, identifying issues proactively. Coach others on procedures, teamwork, and lead by example, exemplify positive behavior. Provide input to department Manager relating to employee performance, operational success, and activities within the departments. Conducts productive start-up meetings that effectively communicate the daily goals, and previous shift performance. Coordinate, drive and assist in the prioritization of daily assignments to meet production goals. Identify opportunities and implement productivity improvements. Monitor safety practices and housekeeping. Other duties as assigned, such as, training of new personnel, reporting, attending meetings, identify training needs. When your expertise drives us.
