IT Technical Analyst

Pendergrass. GA

The IT Technical Analyst will offer Tier 3 support to other technicians and BAs to support the business. They will also provide enterprise-level application support for both existing business applications and new software integrations or projects. Additionally, they will handle basic network support and address network-level issues. Their contributions will extend to IT infrastructure and Business System technical projects, supporting Galls' on-site and remote users across various areas, including desktop/laptop, mobile, servers, storage, networking, and cybersecurity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Under general supervision, provide analysis, design, implementation, and administration of enterprise or departmental software, hardware, and technical services.
  • Deliver on assigned project work per agreed-upon scope, timeframe, and cost with a high degree of quality.
  • Assess and resolve escalated incidents or problem tickets for a variety of technical solutions and equipment.
  • Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Configure and deploy IPS/IDS-enabled firewalls, ASA firewalls, routers/switches, virtual & physical servers, enterprise data storage, and other equipment within the company infrastructure.
  • Must support the Korber application in all areas. This includes break fixes, testing, and being familiar with how the application works in the business environment.
  • Must support UPS World Ship and the connections between it and the Korber environment.
  • Keep live documents of policies and procedures that apply to the LVI and business environment.
  • Will be receiving tasks and projects from LVI Director of Operations and will be working closely with them on specific initiatives and providing updates on their progress.
  • Work closely with the BA team for all testing and development work.
  • Support and provide break fix for RF devices utilized in the warehouse environment.
  • Perform access administration tasks as required by company policy.
  • Support printers throughout the organization.
  • Provide reports utilizing data mining of historical and current data.
  • Review the tech stack and environment and propose any enchantments that would benefit the business from an IT perspective.
  • Provide conference room support.
  • Communicate information regarding pending or upcoming problems, outages, or other service issues to users on the Galls network.
  • Implement, communicate, and enforce company security policies and procedures.
  • As assigned, perform periodic security compliance auditing, assessments, and reviews.
  • Create and continually enhance departmental procedures.
  • Work extended hours as required to meet business requirements or resolve issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support and perform required checklist activities while on-call.
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with company, OSHA, and other applicable regulations to assure a safe workplace.



WHAT YOU BRING



  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience supporting Windows 2008 and above Server, Windows 8.x and above, VMWare 6.0 and above, and Android or iOS mobile devices.
  • Experience with GPO and Active Directory.
  • Experience with Cisco network hardware configuration and support.
  • Experience in managing anti-virus malware prevention software (e.g. Carbon Black).
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange or Office 365 email.
  • Familiarity with VOIP technology.
  • Familiarity with enterprise mobile manager solutions (e.g. MobileIron, AirWatch).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell and/or PowerCLI.
  • Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Linux or iSeries (AS400) experience is a plus.
  • Ability to perform moderate physical activities in the position.
