Overview Job Summary
Demonstrate Georgia Advanced Technology Ventures and Georgia Tech's (GT) core values and strive to achieve our mission of economic development, support of corporate users, and post-incubation start-up companies to scale and achieve positive net income from operations. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. As the Community Manager for CREATE-X, you'll help build and grow a vibrant entrepreneurial community at Georgia Tech. Your main focus will be connecting and supporting students, alumni, mentors, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders, making collaboration and access to Georgia Tech's resources seamless. Youll play a key role in promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and supporting the journey all the way from idea to post-launch. This is a great opportunity to help bring creative ideas to life and contribute to the CREATE-X mission of instilling entrepreneurial confidence and launching real startups. As CREATE-X Community Manager you will Create a collaborative, productive environment amongst CREATE-X founders including students and alumni through focused events, creation of awareness and access to Georgia Tech resources including Georgia Tech Units, and introductions among CREATE-X Founders, Mentors, and Coaches. Manage and engage our Launch community of founders, which includes both active students and alumni Build and manage an online community of students interested in entrepreneurship Attend events and build on-campus community to drive awareness of CREATE-X and entrepreneurial options Collaborate with marketing and support teams to engage in campus and external community initiatives Manage inbound queries from students, faculty, staff, and external parties Oversee and manage space access [Oversee and manage visitor access, coordination of vendors, security clearance requests, Buzzcard activations/deactivation including building suite and parking access, tenant compliance to insurance requirements, timely payment of invoices, and notification to Encore tenants in advance of disruptive work or activities] Background Check
