Summary
Provide quality control to authenticate the accuracy of field surveys in the completion of all daily survey related tasks, which will include but not be limited to: field note reduction, calculations, research, boundary resolution, and plat and map drafting. This position requires field and office experience and strong survey software, AutoCAD, and computer skills. Work is primarily in an office environment but may also require field work. Minimum Requirements
Six (6) years related experience with a minimum of four (4) years of experience working for an electric utility company in the capacity of Survey Party Chief, Survey/Right-of-Way Representative, or Survey Analyst.
Registration in the State of Arizona as a Professional Land Surveyor or Land Surveyor in Training is required. The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to handle progressively responsible charge throughout a career. Thorough knowledge of AutoCAD and mapping procedures is required. Thorough knowledge of coordinate geometry software is required. Experience with survey data reduction and adjustment, both conventional and GPS, is required. Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software is preferred, and the ability to learn new techniques and technologies as they emerge is required. Major Accountabilities
1) Ensure the preparation of accurate and complete survey maps, exhibits, plats, and written legal descriptions. Export Compliance / EEO Statement
