Essential Job Duties
Support the management, preparation, and functioning of Residential Summer Engineering Camps for rising 11th/12th grade students. Prepare training materials, assist in the hiring process of approximately 18 undergrad counselors, responsible for the safety of ~400 rising high school juniors and seniors, prepare staff work schedules, and ensure compliance with NC State University Youth Protective Services Policies. Additionally, provide physical management and support of camp daily functioning during camp weeks, act as task supervisor for undergrad counselors, coordinate activities for camp sessions, and be an on-site contact for campers and their families.

Other Work/Responsibilities
The position requires the ability to drive a minivan to oversee staff and campers across Main, Central, and Centennial Campuses. Requires the ability to drive a 15-passenger van to assist in camper transportation when necessary.
Minimum Experience/Education
Undergraduate or graduate student that has leadership experience in youth programming
Department Required Skills
A confident and enthusiastic leader with experience working with high school students in informal educational programming and leadership experience with undergrad students. Computer skills required: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sheets, Docs, Slides
