KeyLogic is seeking a candidate who is experienced in modern software development practices, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and thrives in a collaborative, and agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance existing portfolio of applications
  • Assist with the migration of theon-prem app databasesto AWS and Aurora PostgreSQL
  • Ensure data synchronization between systems
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high quality solutions
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Maintain and improve existing APIs
  • Support production deployments as needed

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a cross functional team
  • Has an agile mindset and supports agile ceremonies
  • Strong problem-solving skills: ability to troubleshoot issues, propose viable solutions, and weigh tradeoffs
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal (meetings) and written (emails, documentation)
  • Proven ability to coordinate work effectively with external partners and stakeholders
  • Mentoring junior developers by reviewing code, providing feedback, and sharing technical expertise

Required Technical Skills:

  • Programming Languages and Frameworks: Java, SpringBoot, Hibernate, Wildfly, Frontend Development with Angular
  • Databases: Oracle, Aurora PostgreSQL
  • Version Control: Git (Gitlab)
  • Cloud Native Services and Development: AWS (ECS, Lambda, SQS, API Gateways)
  • Modern Application Development: Microservices based architecture, API first development

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
