The waste management industry is cutting edge, fast-paced, and endlessly complex. Rumpke Waste & Recycling is among the largest players in the industry and growing every day. Rumpke is looking for a HRIS Talent Systems Administrator to support and maintain Rumpke's applicant tracking system (ATS) and learning management system (LMS) and provide technical support to employees.

Responsibilities of Position:



  • Manage the day-to-day administration of UKG Pro ATS (UKG Recruiting) and LMS (Schoox) talent systems and related talent technologies:


    • Configure systems setup and ensure proper data flow between UKG Pro, ATS/LMS, and third-party vendors.
    • Perform routine system maintenance and test system updates.
    • Maintain and update records accurately, audit data for integrity, and perform data cleanup.
    • Manage employee security access to systems.
    • Ensure system compliance with data security, privacy, and legal requirements.
    • Maintain organizational structures through an understanding of directories, file structures, and systems.
    • Upload, maintain, and update training content in the LMS.
    • Manage course revisions and history in the LMS.
    • Provide technical support to Rumpke employees, including conducting training sessions and troubleshooting system errors.


  • Collaborate with the Recruiting and Talent Development teams to:



      • Document system standards, processes, and procedures.
      • Identify opportunities for and implement system enhancements.
      • Create, maintain, update, and distribute reports on key recruiting and learning metrics.
      • Develop and maintain user guides and technical training materials for the ATS and LMS.




  • Analyze data to gauge LMS usage/effectiveness and uncover trends in content being utilized.
  • Maintain knowledge of current technology as it applies to talent systems.
  • Serve as backup to HRIS Administrator for basic UKG Pro HRIS tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Skills & Abilities Needed for Position:



  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) required.
  • Proficiency in UKG Pro HRIS, UKG Recruiting ATS, and Schoox LMS preferred.
  • Troubleshooting systems issues.
  • Creating, maintaining, updating, and distributing reports and technical documentation.
  • Analyzing large sets of data.
  • Managing system security access.
  • Developing technical solutions to optimize system usage.
  • Familiarity with virtual training course design and development.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
  • Effective time management, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven ability to establish a high level of credibility quickly and to gain the trust and respect of key stakeholders and leaders.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.



Physical Requirements in a Regular workday:



  • Rarely lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 10lbs.
  • Continuously sitting/standing/walking in office environment.



Additional Working Conditions/Aspects:



  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable).
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language.

Qualifications
Education
High School (required)
Bachelors of Relevant field (preferred)
Experience
Previous HRIS, ATS, or LMS administration. (preferred)
2 years: Experience in systems administration required. Previous HRIS, ATS, or LMS administration preferred. (required)
