Location:Alger Correctional Facility - N 4161 Industrial Park Drive Wetmore, MI 49895
Work Schedule:Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm Join a dedicated team at Alger Correctional Facility, where Gateway Foundation provides substance use disorder treatment to incarcerated individuals in a trauma-informed, group-based setting. Our counselors help clients uncover the root causes of substance use and criminal behavior, empowering them to make positive changes upon reentry into society. The facility offers a supportive and closely connected Michigan team environment, despite the geographic distance between sites. Staff regularly collaborate across facilities, fostering a strong sense of community. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, and counselors typically carry two groups of approximately 12 clients each.
