Covia is looking for a dynamic Mechanic who will have a positive impact on the team at its Dividing Creek, NJ location. The Mechanic is accountable to ensure the safe and productive operation of the plant and must possess aptitude for multiple disciplines and be proficient in the operation of equipment associated with all functional areas within the plant.

General Mechanic Requirements (Covia Dividing Creek) The successful bidder must be able to read and understand assignments, work orders, tools, equipment and plant policies. They must also have a general understanding of the following plant departments and processes. Dredge/Booster Pumps/Pipelines Pipeline (metal/plastic), slurry pumps, cable (wound wire) splicing and replacement, lubrication, packing, seal water, hydraulics, anchor moves, communication components, bearings, sheaves, drive belts, other miscellaneous equipment at the Dredge. Wet Plant Slurry and Vertical Turbine Pumps, packing (seal water), pipeline (plastic), Dryer and Loadout Vibrating feeders, bucket elevators, belt conveyors, screw conveyors, fluid bed dryer, The successful incumbent will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
