Therapist- Early Childhood $4,600 Sign-on / Retention Bonus

DEPARTMENT: Outpatient (Early Education Centers in Kansas City, KS and Kansas City, MO)

Starting Salary: $58,000- $64,000 (Annually)

(Starting salary depends on education and experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Join a groundbreaking early childhood mental health collective moving forward mental, emotional and behavioral care for ages birth through preschool children, families and team members within five local early childhood programs; Emmanuel Family & Child Development Center, Operation Breakthrough, El Centro, EarlystART and Educare. The Early Childhood Float therapist reports to the Director of Outpatient School Based Services. Work as part of an interdisciplinary and interagency team. The Therapist will support center team members and personnel with individual therapeutic and crisis management support to address personal, emotional and social problems that interfere with their ability to provide the best education, services and support possible to children. This position will consult with and support professional development to school team members to increase knowledge of trauma informed interventions for themselves as well as in the school setting to increase knowledge of trauma informed care. This position is a full-time twelve (12) month position per year in which the hours will be flexible to meet needs for scheduling and location of services. Some in home and after-hours work may be required to meet needs.

QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or as a licensed professional counselor, professional licensure (e.g. LMSW, PLPC, LMFT) and bi-lingual in English and Spanish. Licensed at the Clinical level preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver's license, proof of current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.

BONUS: $4,600 ($2,000.00 Sign-on Bonus will be paid on your first paycheck and the $2,600.00 Retention Bonus will be paid after 12 months of service.)
