CLA is currently seeking a Manager/Director - Gift, Estate & Trust to join our Private Client Tax practice in Wisconsin.

How you'll create opportunities in this Manager/Director - Gift, Estate & Trust role:

  • Manage and develop relationships with new business development, existing clients and mentoring team members.
  • Develop client relationships by delivering a full range of gift, estate & trust tax planning and consulting services.
  • Provide planning strategies minimizing estate taxes, business succession, and asset protection.
  • Review high net worth individual income tax returns and collaborate with CLA's Wealth Advisory practice.
  • Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that offers a ton of flexibility, autonomy, and the encouragement to make things happen.
  • Lead the engagement progress by monitoring time, budgets and deadlines for adherence.
  • Communicate important developments to the engagement principal along with facts, conclusions, and recommendations.

What you will need:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • You have a minimum of 6 years of public accounting or professional services experience working with high net worth (HNW) clients with an emphasis in gift, estate and trust, and individual tax planning and compliance.
  • CPA license certification is required. A JD degree or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification may be accepted in lieu of a CPA license.
