Basic Function
HF Sinclair is seeking a Marine Assurance Manager in Anacortes, WA, who will be responsible to lead theMarine Transportation efforts to establish, maintain, and enforce vessel and terminal standards at the assigned refinery. Establishes, maintains and enforce vetting standards for all inland and ocean-going marine voyages within the scope of the Company's vetting standards. Provides oversight of marine loss control activities. Job Duties

A minimum of five years of job-related experience in a similar environment is required. Education Level
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, is required. Required Skills
Previous experience serving onboard ocean-going tankships or ocean-going tank barges; experience in marine inspections; and/or experience in tank vessel vetting. Previous vetting and/or loss control experience desirable. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility
None. Work Conditions
Office, marine vessel, and plant based with up to 5% travel by land and air required. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment, and out-of-doors environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment, wet and/or oil contaminated conditions, at both below grade and elevated positions, and working in confined spaces.
