ARES Corporation is seeking a motivated individual to join our Flight Operations Project Control Team support the Johnson Space Center. The Project Control Specialist manages financial and/or administrative aspects of assigned contracts and deliverables. Tracks and validates all client financial information, establishes and maintains master contract files, prepares and monitors status of all deliverables, tracks the value of contracts, and reports payment of government fees. Updates task reports with funding information and prepares revenue projections for all active contract task orders. Uses automated systems to track deliverables, financial transactions, and management information. Our team provides project support and integration with Program, Center and Agency systems. Additionally, the Project Control Specialist supports the following functions:

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Support financial database functions and Working Groups
  • Support testing, upgrades, and maintenance of FOD's project information system.
  • Collect, organize, input, process, and maintain configuration control of financial and resources data.
  • Provide Program and JSC monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports for all cost and labor elements. This includes, but is not limited to, support to Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), Performance Management Reviews (PMR), Technical Cost and Schedule Reviews (TCSR), the Fiscal Year (FY) Operating Plan (OP), and re-phased OP.
  • Retrieve data, perform data searches, and produce management reports.
  • Document processes, roles, and responsibilities used for baseline change documentation and baseline integrity maintenance of established operational systems included Athena and SPICE
  • Maintain training documentation
  • Provide help desk support
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Government development and/or operational program
  • Familiarly with the International Space Station Program

Education and Relevant Work Experience:

  • A Bachelor's of Science or a Bachelor's of Art with 3 or more years of experience
