Who We Are

We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport's growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open.

The Role

This is an 8-week program from June 10th through August 13th.

Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Hybrid schedule: Must be capable to work on-site 2-3 days per week at the Westchester Office.

Hourly rate: $20.00

Our Customer Care department is committed to delivering outstanding support to our customers. We provide a range of self-help resources, including FAQs, tutorials, and troubleshooting guides on our website, and our dedicated team is available via chat, phone, and email to assist with any inquiries. We continually analyze customer interactions to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance the overall customer experience.

As a Customer Care Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in customer support and problem-solving while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team, assisting with customer inquiries and supporting the development of resources that improve service quality.

    Assist with responding to customer inquiries via chat, phone, and email, providing timely and accurate support.
  • Help maintain and update the customer care resources on the website, including FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and tutorials.
  • Analyze customer interactions to identify trends, common issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop new support materials and improve existing resources based on customer feedback.
  • Contribute to daily operations by handling customer tickets, providing follow-up communication, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to identify opportunities to enhance the overall customer experience.
Who You Are
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and professional tone.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to think critically and resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with customer service tools, CRM systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in customer service or support roles, either in person or online.
  • Experience with content creation, such as writing help articles, guides, or FAQs.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
