Essential Job Duties:

This position will provide support to the Oil, Gas and Minerals Specialty Assets Group within Asset Management & Trust

Assist Mineral Trust Asset Managers in the collection of information necessary to prudently manage assets under custody

Ability to provide feedback, facilitate discussions and provide recommendations

Deep understanding of oil & gas and the complexities associated

Understanding of title and ability to collect the necessary information and documents to complete the chain of title, proving/confirming ownership

Set up/removal of accounts, assets, leases, wells, payors, etc. in the oil, gas and mineral database system

Assist with identifying payors and processing of revenue

Initiate change of owner and/or notification requests with operators/payors

Work to collect funds held in suspense and/or escheated funds

Review, route and/or process JIBs, Division Orders, AFEs. etc.

Collect, review and organize incoming 1099s associated with OGM production, by account

Coordinate payment of invoices

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. This may include clearing audit exceptions and sending requests for documentation to clients and outside parties, etc.

Supporting senior staff

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate would have prior experience in Trust and Asset Management. Experience supporting Specialty Assets/Oil & Gas is a plus. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, as well as compose simple correspondence

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other employees of the organization

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance

Ability to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Computer skills to include Trust Accounting System, database software, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Word

Education:

Bachelor's degree or higher is a plus

Experience:

Individual must have a minimum of three years of previous oil, gas and minerals experience

Prior Land Analyst, Land Technician or Division Order Analyst experience is preferred

Member of the National Association of Lease and Title Analysts (NALTA), National Association of Division Order Analysts (NADOA), or the American Associated of Professional Landmen (AAPL) is preferred

Certified Professional Lease and Title Analyst (CPLTA) or Certified Division Order Analyst (CDOA) a plus
