The Operations Supervisor ADP is "hosted" by the Global Supply Chain Organizational Development Department and participants are matched with one of our manufacturing or distribution facilities. Opportunity is in Fernly, NV Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships. Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Operations Manager within Production and Warehousing Operation functions including: Assisting with planning daily work scheduled Participate in continuous improvement projects and six sigma training Support site safety programs Understanding sites accounting and billing departments for production Working with the filling department and filling supervision needs Maintenance & engineering of site equipment and operating procedures to be able to identify and resolve any defect in equipment or products Understand inventory, routing, and shipping procedures Human resources exposure: coordinate and plan employee training, development, performance management, and corrective actions. Supervision of Site Operating teams Exposure to timekeeping and production control systems After completion of the first 9 months of the program, the employee will gain a minimum of 6 months of experience as an Acting Supervisor within the warehouse or production plant completing 2 months in each shift (3 total).
