Committed to serving global societal needs. ASTM Role Description: This position is structured as an opportunity for the Intern to learn and grow. It provides a chance to get engaged and stay connected with the AM community. Also, this an excellent opportunity to get up-to-date information on the latest AM technology developments from the industry, research institutes, and regulatory bodies. The Intern will be exposed to all areas of the CoE's work while focusing mainly on various Training and Certification (T&C) activities conducted by AM CoE. Learning Objectives: The Intern will gain a comprehensive understanding of how the (T&C) programs are developed and how the knowledge is disseminated to the AM community. In addition to that, by exposing to other functions of AM CoE, the Intern will gain an understanding of the AM process chain such as design, fabrication, inspection, application as well as qualification and certification. To achieve this, the Intern will work with ASTM management, technical experts, and stakeholders. The Intern will also get exposed and get trained in multiple project management tools and productivity tools.
