Minimum Experience/Education
Senior-level science stduent familiar with raising turkeys
Department Required Skills
Experience handling and restraining poultry, including breeders.
Proficient with husbandry of poultry
Trained in avian euthanasia by carbon dioxide
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Minimum of 2 years handling poultry
Familiar with sample collection, such as choanal swab and venipuncture
Knowledgeable of necropsy and internal anatomy of the birds
Required License or Certification

Valid NC Driver's License required? No
Commercial Driver's License Required? No
