Research Assistant (Crespo)

A temporary Research Assistant is needed to complete a short-term research project and assist in the field with sample collection.

Senior-level science stduent familiar with raising turkeys

Experience handling and restraining poultry, including breeders.
Proficient with husbandry of poultry
Trained in avian euthanasia by carbon dioxide

Minimum of 2 years handling poultry
Familiar with sample collection, such as choanal swab and venipuncture
Knowledgeable of necropsy and internal anatomy of the birds
