We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Key Account Demand Planner to join our team in supporting Georgia Pacific's Retail Towel, Tissue, and Napkin business. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing sales and demand patterns, collaborating with key accounts, developing accurate demand forecasts, and communicating demand plan decisions to key stakeholders. This role will own the system statistical forecast and facilitate the 13-week forecast alignment process with sales and category teams. The Demand Planner will continuously drive confidence and reliability with all stakeholders to support sales teams, category teams, operations, and financial planning. This position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a keen understanding of demand planning principles.

Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

What You Will Do
* Collaborate closely with key accounts/sales teams and other stakeholders to gather sales and demand information, understand market trends, and develop accurate and reliable 13-week forecasts
* Improve forecast accuracy through history cleansing and creation of a base statistical forecast at product/customer/region level
* Work with sales teams to understand business conditions, trends, and assumptions. Review and confirm promotional volume and timing
* Knowledge share with category demand planner to resolve major variances and gain alignment with the category teams
* Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to identify demand patterns, seasonality, and potential risks or opportunities
* Apply impactful and significant demand changes to the forecast in a timely manner. Leverage customer POS, inventory, and planned order sensing to enhance 13-week forecasts
* Support new product launches, promotions, and other supply chain initiatives, by providing accurate demand forecasts and coordinating with internal teams to meet customer expectations
* Utilize demand planning tools, software, and statistical models to generate accurate forecasts, considering factors such as promotions, pricing changes, and market dynamics
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for forecast accuracy, including MAPE and BIAS while continuously driving metric improvements through analysis of customer trends, sales team insights, and business intelligence
* Drive continuous improvement in demand planning capability

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Experience in a demand planning, supply chain management, or a similar role
* Experience effectively collaborating with internal teams and building strong relationships with key accounts
* Experience using data to solve problems, make informed decisions, and implement effective solutions
* Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools, and other relevant software applications

What Will Put You Ahead
* Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or retail industry experience
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
* Experience analyzing complex data sets, identifying patterns, and generating accurate demand forecasts
* Proficiency in demand planning software and statistical forecasting tools
* Experience with SAP IBP planning system
* Knowledge of supply chain management principles and demand planning best practices
* Familiarity with sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes and cross-functional collaboration
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
