Chemonics International seeks a Sr. Associate for Benefits. The Benefits Sr. Associate is responsible for day-to-day operations of group benefits programs while ensuring compliance with federal and state law. The associate will assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions, coordinates all insurance billing and invoice reconciliation, and maintains employee database and files.
Provide support to staff regarding administration of benefit programs including, but not limited to, group health, dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401K, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and leave
Provide complex customer support in all benefit programs including, but not limited to, claim resolution, protected leave case management, and workers compensation (including DBA) claims
Stay abreast of state and federal leave requirements and ensures company compliance with the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (and corresponding amendments), the Employee Retirement Income Act, the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Department of Labor. Responsible for current and accurate state statutory Workers' Compensation laws and OSHA reporting requirements

The Salary Range for this position is expected to be: $55,760 - $69,700. An employee's pay position will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
Overtime exemption status may change due to state regulatory requirements.
