ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

This role as Pricing Manager is responsible for driving revenue & profit optimization programs, defining price setting based on market value, executing on pricing operations and governance, performing advanced analytics, and leading price management. As a key member of the Pricing & Contracting Team, you will work to build and improve our pricing strategy and contracting capabilities. This is a strategic role that is an integral part of the business. Critical to success, this role will collaborate across many functional areas including sales, finance, marketing, and operations.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

Pricing Lead:

  • Develop and implement pricing programs that help to maximize business objectives
  • Analyze and monitor market environment and competitive pricing to determine if strategies should be refined to optimize growth

Program Management & Implementation:

  • Create price assessments and lead programs through implementation
  • Ongoing management of pricing programs through functional collaboration
  • Drive efficiency in these price programs, processes, tools, and systems

New Product Strategy:

  • Perform research and revenue modeling to set new product pricing considering customer demand, economics, and segmentation
  • Develop pricing models to support product portfolio development for current and future products
  • Develop post-launch analytics, track KPIs

Price Reporting:

  • Support ASP reviews during appropriate meetings
  • Create and advise on analysis of price drivers, trends, and market insights
  • Provide data driven insights for program performance at contract level

Price Execution & Management:

  • Develop and train sales and contracting on offer tools and guidelines
  • Aid in governance policies and enforcement
  • Advise on systems, tools, and deal analytics requirements
  • Support sales operations on price book strategy and set up
  • Support legal, compliance, regulatory requirements

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in pricing models, value-based pricing, and reimbursement mechanisms in the medical device or healthcare industry

Preferred:

  • Works independently under limited supervision
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Power Point
  • Experience in Pricing, Finance, Business, Marketing, or Economics
  • Experience in market research techniques and competitive analysis
  • Demonstrated strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable insights and coherent strategies
  • Demonstrated collaboration and leadership skills
  • Strong presentation, story-telling skills
  • Experience in negotiation or influence management
  • Must be comfortable working in cross-functional role and navigating many stakeholders
  • Proven success dealing with time-sensitive ambiguous projects
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. certified pricing professional)

SALARY

The salary for this position is expected to be between ($137,100 - $193,600) and will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
