Advantage XPO is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in New Haven, CT. In this role, you'll help maintain and repair a wide variety of machinery and mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, dock locks, and production machines. Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday, Friday & Saturday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM Pay: $26 - $29 per hour Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor mechanical devices in operation and identify issues based on sound and performance Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts Inspect used parts to determine necessary dimensional changes Assist in repairing or replacing defective components Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments Lubricate and clean parts as needed Complete maintenance paperwork accurately and in a timely manner Qualifications: High school diploma (or equivalent) 5+ years of related experience or equivalent education and training Valid driver's license Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and technical manuals Strong communication skills for reporting and group discussions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at roof level Comfortable working in tight spaces and on your feet during start-up processes Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, and occasional environmental hazards Required safety gear: steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, eye protection Flexible schedule, including weekends and non-standard hours Moderate noise level in the work environment If you're ready to apply your mechanical expertise in a dynamic and challenging environment, click "Apply Now".
