Our Team

Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians, along with our Mechanical Technicians, work with our Operations and Engineering teams to minimize downtime and ensure we meet quality production. Maintenance Technicians will be expected to acquire and refine multiple skills in both Electrical and Mechanical crafts. This position is for a 2nd (4p-12a) or 3rd shift role (12am-8am) and includes holidays, weekend, and overtime hours as needed.

What You Will Do

• Repair electrical and instrumental systems and restore them to perform their intended function
• Conduct standard diagnostics for systems such as 24VDC, 120VAC, 480VAC, and 5KVAC, including DC motor controls and their associated motors.
• Troubleshoot and repair Electrical and Instrumentation mechanisms (e.g., limit/selector switches, solenoids, and industrial instruments), as well as resolve issues with site lighting, transformers, feeder cables, electronic temperature controllers, and electrical tracing systems.
• Execute Calibration/Function tests on both electrical components and process-related instrumentation.
• Performing root cause analyses on equipment failures
• Inspecting equipment during overhauls
• Diagnose problems by interpreting and working from engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and equipment manufacturers literature
• Safety First Mentality that values risk identification and personal ownership
• Responding to call outs
• Maintaining and repairing a wide range of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulics systems after cross training
• Providing mechanical support during emergencies and shutdowns

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Journeyman Electrician License from the State of Delaware
• Experience in industrial, electrical, and mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and working with PLC's, HMI's, A/C & D/C motors, drives, encoders, resolvers, control systems, bearings, gearboxes, and drive systems
• Experience reading electrical and maintenance schematics/blueprints
• Experience diagnosing electronic systems using scanning and diagnostic tools, multimeters, and computers

Physical Requirements

• Required to wear any or all of the following PPE: safety glasses, hearing protection, goggles, hard hats, FRC, gloves, safety boots. PPE use is in accordance with the safety rules and regulations
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs, repetitively as required
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, industrial, non-temperature controlled, high-volume environment

What Will Put You Ahead

• 2 or more years of industrial, electrical, and mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment
• Associate Degree in an industrial maintenance related field
• A certificate of electrical or mechanical training from an accredited institution
• One or more years of experience with single and three phase electrical repair/troubleshooting up to 480 volts
• Experience with conveyors, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication
• Experience diagnosing mechanical using scanning and diagnostic tools, multimeters, and computers

This role is part of the collective bargaining agreement and the starting pay range for this role is $33.50 - 36.00 per hour.
