SUMMARY Product Management, Senior Manager is responsible for balancing the company goals with long term industry trends and opportunities as well as for maintaining, and planning the strategies aligned to the product goals for the product/product management department. Essentially, they continuously oversee the successful analysis and development of products that solve the problems and needs of customers today and in the future. They participate on a product development level managing the product strategies in line with the company's goals, the various internal and external influencers, and the industry trends. They also participate on a tactical level, developing client support teams aligned to market goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES Key responsibilities include the ability to lead people, projects, and initiatives in order to achieve organizational goals. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This position will have significant relationship management responsibilities. He/she will carry out leadership and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Qualifications
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Remote/hybrid position. Some travel is expected for this role. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE A Bachelor's degree in product management, communications, business, or related field is required. Candidates should have a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience with proven success in managing product service functions, ideally within a non-profit organization.
