Quincy Family Store Worker

The Salvation Army Family Store in Quincy is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as Store Workers at our busy thrift store.

Hours: 19 hours weekly

Schedule: Flexible hours (varied shifts including weekdays, evenings, and weekends)

Rate of Pay: $15.00/hour

Responsibilities:

As a Store Worker, you'll play an essential role in ensuring our store runs smoothly while supporting our mission to serve the community. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing outstanding customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Sorting, pricing, and organizing donations to maintain a clean and attractive sales floor.
• Restocking shelves and maintaining eye-catching product displays.
• Operating the cash register with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assisting with loss prevention efforts to safeguard merchandise.

Qualifications:

No prior retail experience? No problem! We're happy to train the right candidates who demonstrate:

• A friendly and approachable personality with strong communication skills.
• The ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
• A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Physical stamina for tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.

Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required!

These services are supported through generous donations and revenue from the Hannibal and Quincy Family Stores.
