Fiskars Group's HR has an exciting opportunity for an experienced

HR Director, Fiskars Americas

to join Fiskars global HR team. This role reports directly to the Chief HR Officer, who is based in Europe, and is the top HR job supporting the Americas (which includes the US and Canada).

You will be responsible for working with the Fiskars organization in the Americas to drive all talent strategies that enable growth in the market. You will develop and execute human capital strategies and activities that enable growth, innovation and overall organizational effectiveness. You will be responsible for driving HR initiatives and communicate how those initiatives and programs fit into the overall business and HR strategy. You will also work in close partnership with the Fiskars Americas and Gerber management teams.

As the top HR job in the Americas, you will also have responsibility for the Payroll and Benefits functions that serve other Fiskars Group businesses in the Americas. In total, this role is responsible for a team of ten professionals, including Payroll & Benefits, HRBPs in the Fiskars and Gerber organizations, and members of the Facilities team.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Leading and inspiring the HR and Facilities teams
  • Collaborating with global HR team and others to ensure that Fiskars Business Area (BA) initiatives are delivered in the local market with quality, on time, and within budget
  • Promoting a culture of accountability and execution excellence within the broader Fiskars Americas organization
  • Working with the Fiskars Americas management team across all people-related topics
  • Representing Americas' voices on a global level within the Fiskars BA
  • Making sure Fiskars Americas is recognized as a highly attractive place to work - working in modern ways with retaining and attracting top talents
  • Communicating on executive level, collaborating across boundaries and geographies and working with colleagues across the business and the broad HR team.

In addition, you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, behavioral subject, business, or the like. If Master's degree, preferably in Psychology, Sociology or Organizational design.
  • +10 years of relevant experience, including people leadership of employees in different US locations
  • Ability to work independently using specialist knowledge, judgment and practical experience in daily work
  • Experience of working in USA as a leader
  • Excellent skills in oral and written communication. Ability to communicate with people on all levels and functions in the organization
  • Fluent spoken and written English, and used to work in an organization where other mother tongues are heard and all communications is done in English.
