CMM Programmer Location: Orlando, FL Job ID: #70343 Pay Range: $39-47 hourly 12 Month Contract onsite Citizenship REQUIRED! Job Description his position is for a CMM Programmer/Engineer who has experience programming Zeiss CMMs and using Calypso software. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Develops and reviews quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured parts. * Develops CMM process including designing fixtures, determining probes, and programming the machines. * Leads and / or participates on Material Review Boards, Failure Review Boards and other technical investigations. * Identifies root cause of complex issues and ensures effective corrective / preventive action to improve processes. * Develops and implements new inspection processes and automation methods. * Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement. * Makes the final decision on acceptability of product. Required Experience: * Candidate MUST have completed Zeiss Advanced Zeiss Classes/Training (NOT other company training) using Calypso Software. * Must have 5 years experience in a Machine Shop. * At least 1 year of experience with developing CMM processes including designing fixtures, determining probes, and programming the machines.
