Robotics Systems Development (RSD) is part of the global KION CTO organization and is focused on the development and support of robotics products, solutions, and services. As a Sales Training Manager, you are part of the Robotics Lifecycle Department within the RSD group.

You are responsible for supporting the robotics go-to-market approach and business roll-out of the global KION Operating Units (OU), by providing comprehensive training programs and materials. This includes robotics / mobile automation products (AGVs, hard- and software), applications, and solutions globally, covering OU-specific and regional needs. Primary target audiences are OU Sales Training, Sales (Support), Solution Development, and Product Management departments. You will lead an international team of experts located in the US, Europe, and APAC and closely collaborate with the neighboring Robotics Lifecycle departments (Service Training, Sales Support, Technical Documentation, etc.).

This position is located in Holland, MI. This is a hybrid position requiring three days in-office and two days optional to work from home. What we offer:

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $92,250-135,300 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Core Responsibilities:

* Single point of contact for OU sales & product training requests (both pro-active and ad-hoc training initiatives) for robotics solutions

* Collaborate with OU key stakeholders (Training, Sales (Support), Solution Development, and Product Management departments) as well as cross-functionally within the Robotic Systems Development group to define and create trainings and training materials

* Ensure fast and efficient knowledge transfer towards the KION OUs to fully support the roll out of robotics roadmaps and meet OU learning requirements

* Ensure a scalable and repeatable global training approach (including presence trainings as well as online / digital concepts) that incorporates innovative training strategies

* Partner with cross-functional KION training leaders to synergize training plans and leverage content and resources

* Manage all relevant training curriculums and KPIs, communicate pro-actively to key stakeholders on the progress of programs, and provide follow-up support when needed.

* Continuously explore state-of the art, innovative learning concepts, training processes and technologies/tools (e.g. AI, VR).

* Lead and develop an international team

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, Master's degree is preferred

* 5+ years of working experience is required

* Relevant management experience, preferably within Robotics/Mobile Automation and Automated Material Handling Solutions

* Ability to lead an international team and to perform in a global matrix organization

* Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, such as communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

* Good technical understanding

* Fluency in English (additional languages such as German or Chinese are a plus)

* Flexibility, willingness to travel and to go the extra mile to anticipate, understand and respond to customer's needs
