SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Job Duties:

  • Manage global upstream marketing activities for radial access products within the Endovascular portfolio.
  • Develop global strategy for the radial access portfolio in the endovascular interventional market.
  • Perform market assessment for the radial access portfolio to determine market attractiveness for new products globally.
  • Ensure supply continuity is maintained for existing radial access products globally including forecast management.
  • Prepare and present professional written and oral presentations and market analysis to provide internal trainings for sales team, cross-functional product development teams, and production staff.
  • Address changes to the portfolio due to supply interruptions and changes, product modifications, and evolving regulations.
  • Conduct market research through physician interviews, observation of procedures, questionnaires, and face-to-face discussions for various purposes, market assessment, product requirements, new opportunity identification.
  • Identify customers' unmet needs through collaboration with Interventional Cardiologists and Interventional Radiologists to develop new product design specifications.
  • Work on New Product Development by utilizing the medical device design control process.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, and operations to develop and maintain products according to customer needs.
  • Work with Interventional Cardiologists and Interventional Radiologists to determine detailed user requirements for new radial access products.
  • Develop product positioning, messaging, branding, brand name, logo, packaging and labeling for existing and new radial access products.
  • Develop a global pricing strategy for new products utilizing various pricing sources and the global pricing team.
  • Plan and execute global new product launches through partnership with sales, engineering, manufacturing, branding, and the commercial marketing team.
  • Develop and present Marketing Plan Reviews to the Executive leadership team.
  • Develop and maintain demand forecast for pre-market and recently launched radial access products globally.
  • Partner with the Marketing and Events team for tradeshows, corporate events, surgeon education, and the assurance of consistent branding and messaging across radial access products.

Experience Required: 3 years as a Product Manager or closely related occupation.

Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Engineering, or a closely related field.

Special Requirements: 3 years' experience as a Product Manager or closely related occupation must be in the medical device industry.

Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience in:

  • Managing upstream marketing activities for medical device product lines.
  • Conducting market assessment and reporting findings to senior management.
  • Preparing and presenting professional written and oral presentations and market analysis.
  • Collaborating with sales, engineering, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, and operations teams for new product development.
  • Developing and maintaining demand forecast for new radial access products globally.
  • Working on New Product Development by utilizing the medical device design control process.
  • Conducting market research through physician interviews, observation of procedures, questionnaires, and face-to-face discussions, market assessment, product requirements, and new opportunity identification.
  • Developing and presenting Marketing Plan Reviews to the Executive leadership team.
  • Ensuring supply continuity is maintained for products globally including forecast management.

Travel Requirements: Travel domestically up to 2 times per month for period of up to 4 days per trip. Travel internationally up to 1 time per year for period of up to 7 days per trip.
