Ramboll is accepting applications for the Summer 2025 internship program at our office located in Overland Par, Kansas. Each participant will be assigned a mentor who will guide them through project assignments. The program will provide internship participants with the opportunity to gain experience working in one or more practice areas. Our goal is to afford our interns experience with a variety of projects during the summer program to broaden their understanding an experience within their field of interest.

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities

The successful candidates will work with project managers in our office to help conduct client and market research, analysis of environmental data and perform technical analysis of environmental data. The types of projects and expected day-to-day tasks may include one or more of the following:

  • Perform external research related to Ramboll's growth initiatives to update client and project databases.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to mine data from Ramboll's internal project and client databases to support market growth and cross-selling.
  • Participate in project teams related to Ramboll's litigation support practice to assist in research and data evaluation and to gain an understanding of this area of practice within environmental consulting.
  • Participate on project teams to evaluate investigation and remediation of contaminated sites.
  • Producing figures and tables for reports.
  • Reviewing and summarizing regulatory requirements.
  • Visitation of jobsites to gain field experience, broaden background, and develop practical skills.
  • May periodically assist Ramboll staff in the office with administrative functions; learn what it means to be an environmental engineer/scientist and trusted advisor to our clients.

  • Candidates should be working toward a B.S or M.S degree in a relevant engineering, geology, science, or chemistry field with an interest in pursuing a career in environmental consulting.
  • Candidates with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above are strongly preferred. Candidates with the completion of 4 college semesters (rising Junior status) are strongly preferred.
